Product Description and Uses:  an effective biocide widely used as disinfectant and antiseptic in many cosmetic, personal care and household and institutional toiletry products, as well as in medical, surgical and veterinary applications.  It is also widely used in swimming pool and spa water as sanitizer to replace chlorine, as well as in industrial water treatment, oil fields, leather, and many other industrial applications.
